Fishing in Homer is an experience, not only will you get the chance to land that huge halibut but as soon as your charter trip begins you'll see some of the best scenery that Alaska has to offer.  Don't forget to bring your camera - once on the water you'll be seeing puffins, sea otters and there's also a good chance you'll see humpback, killer and pilot whales.

Don't forget to layer your clothing as the weather is known to change very quickly - if in doubt about  what to bring just ask one of us and we'll be happy to advise you on what to pack for your trip.

While in Homer you may want to visit  some of the beautiful beaches or perhaps hike some of the local trails.  Homer has a lot to offer from flightseeing & horseback riding to the great restaurants, shops and art galleries. If photography is your passion, this is one of the prettiest places on earth so make sure you bring a camera.

Homer is known as the "Halibut Capital of the World" for good reason but if you want to try your hand at catching other species in addition to halibut we also offer combo trips.  Depending on the season you can also fish for silver or king salmon and also lingcod. 

Lingcod are extremely aggressive and provide an excellent fight. Once landed, they may look odd but they provide a very tasty meal.  If you haven't tasted fresh Alaska salmon, there is nothing like it.  Again, our staff can help you decide whether you just want to take that halibut trip or if you want to upgrade to a combo.
